Space at the end of the bar..

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever filled the reputation bar completely? It seems that there is always a space, both red and green, at the ends.

would a full bar mean unswerving friendship / undying hatred? Or is this just another leftover, meant to be used for or mean something else?

From what I understand, in the normal game, its not possible, you have one square left.

@ FD-
Hmm- I realize that probably no one knows why that is, but it's the sort of question that can quietly drive you bugnuts with curiosity. Have you, or anyone else, ever seen it full in MP?

And I do realize that while it probably has the same meaning and answer that Mr. Natural gave when asked," What's it all mean?" , it would be nice to know...

I havent seen it full in MP, but it gets full sometimes in the SP story, like near the end and the Libery Police like you again.

I've seen it full in MP, but that was only after an Admin rep edit.

From what I understand in the game parameters it only goes up to 9.0 on the bar hence the space left at the end. Same way with going the opposite direction.

Shoot first, shoot straight, win always.

Once, in SP, I had my Reputation Bar with LSF full with all squares, even the last one, I was in Manhattan, but when I launched in space, it was back to normal, with one square left. I was quite confused.

From a modding standpoint, the bars are never full for generic factions. Only the undisplayed story factions have, during missions, a parameter called "REP_FRIEND_MAXIMUM", which sets the green bar to max, no block left. For any faction, this basically means that if you shoot them, you lose automatically......I think.
