Zoners

Is it at all posible to fly missions for the Zoners, and if so, how do I get my rep higher than the "bribe" status to do it (without annoying the outcasts :>

As I recall, the Zoners don't have any missions. But the Bounty Hunters often have missions available at the Zoners bases. Even though the Zoners supposedly are neutral, they do have a tie with the Bounty Hunters. Get in really bad with the Bounty Hunters and you may find the zoners won't let you land!

Well,if i remember, you cannot make the zones like you(exept while using Ioncross Carictor Editor)so it always says"No missions avalable.Come back when your on frendlyer terms with there bace".So,zones dont have missions. They like the bounty huners, but i think the bounty hunters dont like them.Anyway, its ussless, they got no enamies.Wonder what they do for fun! There boring.

Zoners are allied w/ GMG, IMG, BH, Lane Hackers, Xenos, Unioners, and I think that's it, but I'm not sure. Don't piss those fcations off, the Zoners wil agree to shelter you and give u theer equipment.

If you go to an IMG base there are many bribes for the Zoners and the Outcasts won't mind you buying them.

Incidentaly, you can find bribes on idependent bases for the zoners. The zoners themselves won't be bribed, but Bounty Hunters and IMG typically have bribes for zoners. I got my rep with them to maximum. They still don't have any missions, and if they did it would probably be clearing asteroids or transporting goods.

You can get bribes to adjust your reputation with the zoners until they are the friendliest faction with you.
BUT
You'll never be able to get any "missions" from them simply because of their neutral status.

In an odd twist of events though:
If you happen to be enguaged in a fight and the zoners happen to get caught in the crossfire by your enemy...they'll side up with you.
But, by the same turn of the token..they'll side just as quickly with the other side if you happen to hit them.

One vague possiblity is their hostility with the nomads. (same as everyone else)
You might be able to fabricate a mission from the zoners against the nomads.

There's a rumor somewhere that ships are not supposed to fight eachother within 1k of a zoner base. Doing so will hurt your rep.

Actually, if you happen to be engaged in fighing near enough to a zoner base, the zoners will become quite upset with you. (hostile) at least a 50/50 chance.
That's the only entity I'm aware of that does that.
The stranger thing was it seems that was the only base that would go hostile although your rep with the zoners was green anyway. So finding a bribe to fix that was practically non-existant.
