Error! Error!

Hey yo, I recently reinstalled FL and ran Data Storm but got several .dll errors.

Any ideas what would cause this to happen on a fresh install of FL?

PC Specs:

XP SP2
P4 3.gHz with Hyperthreading
2gb 400mHz DDR running in dual channel mode
nVidia GF6200 (BFGtech)
Sound Blaster live 24-bit

You said you reinstalled, but that would not remove the dll's left there by previous mods (as well as many other files). The best way to get a fresh copy is to manually delete your Freelancer folder, then reinstall.

I did. I removed FL about a year ago, when I delete something I make sure all files and folders are gone.

Plus, since the last time FL was installed I've reformatted my hard drive. Old files or registry entries can't be the issue.

I know this is going to sound silly.
Did you think about just exploring again?

Anyway..before you throw a shoe at me..
did you start up the game first, then run the FLData Storm program?
What errors are you running into?

Which error do you get, just a dll error or missing dll's?
