FL DataStorm Support/Comments

I'm having a problem setting up Datastorm that I was hoping someone could help with. When gathering the game info from the *.dll's, the program does not use the correct install path for FR - hence no info. Rather than "microsoft games" in 'program files', it searches for 'M19A48~'. Where does Datastorm get the install info? The registry entries for FL all look Ok, and I'm using the default install path.

The Datastorm setup is also trying to download the msvbvm50, msjet40 and msinet files, all of which are already present.

Not sure if it matters, but here's my system info:

P4 2.6
1024 MB Ram
GeForceFX 5200 (128 MB Ram)
Soundblaster Live 5.1
WindowsXP Home sp2
Freelancer 1.0 with SDK 1.3

hi i want to install datastorm and its trying to download the missing file - but it

First of all... I really want to thank the design teams for making Datastorm. Such a great location program that's also easy to use! This also comes in handy for the inner-spoiled-child inside us that wants to know everything about a new mod once you download it.

I do have to admit that I did get that exact "Overflow" problem as well. I kept pressing "Ok and continue through problem" but it kept flashing back whenever I pressed it! It only happened once, but I figured it's best to state a problem in case you guys look into it.

Hey All.

Datastorm is a great utility for people like me who want to know everything about anything and i have used it for some time. However, i recently had my pc reformatted and i dunno what the problem is but i cant get datastorm (3.91) to install. it says

I have no idea what this means (Im pants with comps) so could someone please explain how i can fix this in words that i could inderstand :-p

Hi I am having some trouble with Datastorm 3.91.

When i go to use any mods i start of with freelancer then sdk 1.3 then flmm then datastorm, but when i open datastorm i get a "Dynamic Link" error when it reads the freelancer dlls.

has anyone else encountered this problem, and has anyone got a solution.

I can`t even install Datastorm. Everytime I try to install it a box pops up asking me to insert the GameShadow disk into my drive. I don`t have a GameShadow disk. All I can do is cancel the install.

Can anyone help with this problem.

I have tryed all versions of DS and all come up with the same problem.

FL DataStorm Installer v1.1 - In order to run FLData.exe v3.8 there
are some System-Files needed - now checking if they exist...
