Updated Bretonia, Rheinland, and the Border Worlds systems. Had to implement a minor fix to restore the backgrounds in the intro scripts. It looks a lot like the original game in some places but I think the re-addition of the nebulae's really makes some systems look awesome. Only 14 more systems to go then some minor changes. After a short private test period the new version will be ready for release.

I'm currently busy with backing up data and reformatting my system so the new version of Real Space has been delayed for a minimum of a week. Sorry for any who were expecting it sooner but I have been very busy lately.

I for one love this mod. I consider it more of an enhancement than a modification. I can't wait for the next version.

For those who are slightly miffed about RS not being compatible with the super-packs, I personally use the following in conjunction with RS.

- The missing Starblazer fighter
- Sliver_Fire's various weapon addons (the pack doesn't work, but the stand alone weapons work just fine)
- The Colonial Viper (BG freak, I'll admit)
- APS Shippack V2.1 (top notch original ships IMHO)

To those who are complaining about how tough the baddies are now, all you have to do is pick up a starpulse gun and watch how they shrivel up in front of you. Personally it makes the game delightfully challenging. I think the Mules still use the bats/bots every now and then, so they're a delicous meal that fights back once you peel them open.

But then again if you have Sliver_Fire's Mass Drivers, you can own the solar skies even with a patriot, all you have to have is a Starpulse, a Mass Driver, and any two weapons of your choice. Many things will wither and die as you touch them.

So yank off that Drail and shell out the credits to pop on an Adv. Starpule, and quit yer *****in'.

Yarr...

Version 2.2 of Real Space is only 3 days away! This version features the finalized setup for all systems(barring major errors). It is currently going through testing by Bobway and his excellent team of admins. I've updated the main post to show off the latest screenshots so you can get a preview of what is to come. Enjoy!

All new Lite version of Real Space has been released on the EOA site! This is the version everyone has been requesting! All it contains are the system modifications so it is compatible with most other mods. Enjoy! It should be up on TLR soon as well but you can still download it off our site.

i have just downloaded your lite version of real space but all that downloaded was 6.52 Mgb when i'm sure that the download manager stated that i was a 7.56Mgb download. so i can not use win zip to extract the file. has something been missed in uploading the mod to lancersreactor
