Anyways - here is a patch for the Open SP version i did, it should now work with FLMM Ver 1.3!

Download here

Open from location, or download - either way, ensure you tick the "YES" when it prompts you with a warning about overwriting files! It only overwrites the bad file

Aethelwulf,

is silverfire's mod scripted and uses generatexml..., if so try to edit the freelancer.ini of chip's mod and make sure that it has space to include the pre-generated dll file of FLMM.

Sorry 'bout this Chips... this thing happened to me in your 1.26 version.

Chips: every time I attempt to run your "Original Trent Starting Position" mod through FLMM v1.3, I receive this error message:

Error: FLMM has determined that 'Original Trent starting positions' won't properly activate.
Error: Unable to find section (1 rep):
[SystemConnections
Path = Bw06, Hi01, Bw06, Ew04, Hi01
in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\universe\systems_shortest_path.ini'
Deactivation of 'Chips Open SP version' successful.

Any input?

have you tried to use the SDK yet, which will ensure you have the same files that i had when trying it. I will see later ( have to download it myself now ), and have a butchers at it.....but since i have been away for several days, i have ALOT of pressing matters to attend, so it could be tomorrow night you get a reply!

Chips: problem solved ... I had to reinstall Freelancer. An earlier mod I had installed (one that didn't require FLMM to operate) was causing other mods to malfunction during the game.

P.S. What's SDK?

Question, Can you run no story mods for Evolutions 1.27 Updated. I could use the servers around but i have got a really slow internet. any sugestions?

Chips I have to say, this is possibly the best Freelancer re-build I have played yet.
There are a few things that I would like to mention, I have found many new systems and was wondering if you had put any in Britonia, I have searched each system and especially Leeds as I think this is where you put the system in the last version but it is no longer there.
Point 2 is when flying through the federation space you are likely to encounter the Cossaks when you look at their rep they appear to be friendly with The Grey Skulls, my question is " who the hell are they and where thge hell are they ". as far as im aware I have been to every system and am yet to meet a grey skull.
Any help you could give on this chips would really help.

Okay, new system is still Swansea for Bretonia - its either Dublin or Edinburgh to get there - beyond the "tau 31" jumphole i think it is (one of those systems has a jumphole to the taus anyways ).

The greyskulls are a clan, run by our Modelling chief PantherX.
At one point we were going to be putting in some players clans, but we dropped this some time back. However, the Greyskulls are pirates who are very closely affiliated with the Outcasts. If you hang round the bars in omicron alpha, then you will find Panther in there at some point. he may even hand out missions for the greyskulls. You can take missions from Greyskulls in the bar as well

p.s - you can do missions against the nomads too, just have to be in nomad infested space.

Also - try and find all the new bases too

ok had a quick glance into Dublin and Edinborough found the Tau 31 junmphole but did not see swansea, I will have a look for it in a more detailed way as I think it is the only system I havent seen.
On another note I would like to say how much I have enjoyed playing this mod, it is quite possibly the best re-worked version of Freelancer yet released.
I would also like to say thanks for the great Supreme Heavy Fighters they are all good but the Hellhound is by far the best.
I played around with the mod you made, the changing system mod and wondered if im not mistaken it puts new systems in specified locations, is there any way to add more systems to the selection so instead of getting 15 different options for get about 20-30 systems added to the game on each selsction.
Oh something else I wanted to mention when I loaded that mod I used selection B and loaded it from manhattan, I have to say that system was nicest looking system I have seen in Freelancer or any of its mods.
Its a pity that more of the mods that get released dont use systems that look as good as that one does.
Is it possible to give the stations and planets in that mod names as at the moment they are called new system base 1 and base 2.
Would I be correct in saying that these systems are coded systems and not made in Freelancer editor if they are are there any tutorials on how to make systems where the planet are on different levels and trade lanes trade lanes travel vertical instaed of horizontal.
