well - it doesn't make the game that much easier, it just means that you can start without battling it out for 20mins on first few missions!

It only removes some regens of lower level things - like Rogues in liberty. Venture out of liberty and you will still get spanked as hard as before, it just means that newbs might not be put off quite as much

What the patch does do though!!!!

Fixes crashes when buying:

Kusari Gunboat
Rheinland Gunboat
Liberty Cruiser

Also fixes:
Price of Kusari Battleship.


Don't worry, on my website it has the patch right now. Also contains my latest - some server only files that will change the aspects. Right now there are 4 wich will:

Nomads will invade Manhatten
Nomads will invade Gamma
Nomads will invade Alpha
Nomads will invade Leeds

Soon i will post up more, where you can choose to have other factions, like Kusari going into rheinland, OUtcast battleships in Liberty, nomads overrunning whole systems rather than just planets.

There are also the restore files for these too. Very simple, very easy, makes a change.

All patches are around 25 kb so very very small, just deactvate the mod, shut FLMM then download patch. It will take care of itself - just click on Okay for it to get into action! lol

Okay - the patch is on the site now (mine) and is third topic from top.
Second topic from top is the mod itself. This will allow new players to download the mod and not need the patch (they both do the same thing). The first news item is for admin of servers to email me so that i can send you immediate updates if necessary so that servers won't crash! lol.

Now that is all sorted - for now

Major problem with your update patch. I get a error message of this patch will overwrite current Evolution mod.

I think I will go and download the full version with updates from your site to be on the safe side.

Chips, you need to recheck or redo the server file. NomadInvasionLeeds

I get a file corruption message when trying to use FLMM.

hmm - okay, firstly - it is SUPPOSED TO OVERWRITE THE OLD ONE!! so don't download the new version unless you are really timid about it okay - its fine. All it does is put the two files in the update INTO the evolutions folder. Simple - only overwrites TWO files that are supposed to be overwritten!

Will check the patch, been busy. Since the Elite has disbanded, i now have had some time to finish off pages, update stuff and whatnot on my website! lol

Hey Chips I noticed that when escorting the VIP's from manhattan, it doesnt say where your supposed to take them, same with prisoners

Hmm - cannot remember VIPS going to places - probs cap planets.

Also - Prisoners - to prisons generally - or to pirates. They want their friends back, but i think if they find you carrying their friends (like you captured them) then they will open up on you......

Seems to be a problem with the mining ship on baltimore.... doesent appear to be steerable at all (elite server)

Yeah - i heard about this. Unfort it is a beast to fly,but i musta accidentally upped the values on one line to make it not move. Will check it out. Just wish i could shrink that beast a little too!

Might take an hour or two though,as am fiddling with my forums and website - if you find anything else let me know immediately though cos that way can sort it out in one go

Chips can you fix it so pilots eject, I havent been able to tracter any pilots at all, I did a few missions and still havent gotton any pilots to trade back to there factions

Noticed one more tiny error, in New Tokyo, there are passengers that want to go to manhattan but the card says New London, in other words in the list theres 2 choices for passengers that want to go to new london, but one of them really wants to go to manhattan.

Great mod, feels like i never played the game before... excelent dificulty level, great ships.
one sugestion for your next mod: fighting against 3 or more civilian ships and win and then destroy the cargo ship is aceptable, but when you fight pirates, only one should be able to blow you, what i mean is in the random missions is no need of endless ships to destroy, only one in one intense fight...

Typed long answer to Arania but Deleted cause not sure if Chips wants this revieled....Arania check your e-mail for answer to beam weapon and base, I havent found any 30 mil wreak so thats on chips to answer.

Chip - I was playing this from SP mode. I didn't set up Open SP (I'll probably try that in a minute) but I was going through the first few missions and determined that either get OpenSP defaulted in or increase the spacing between the missions. I do one mission, and I'm working for Juni again (not to mention that I'm stuck with this ship for quite a while judging by the prices of other ships).
