I posted this on the Rebalance site,but thought I might ask here as well-I have
a Gaijin Mk2 VHF; I bought 4 Crossbow Cruise Missile launchers,and when I fired
them,the missiles hit my ship instead.As near as I can tell,the launchers aren't
far enough away from the hull.Is there a fix or workaround for this?


So,what does THIS button do?

Ha, ouch. that sounds painful. Did it damage your shields or your hull?
I don't know if there's one or not; that's one for Augur to answer, I think.

Sometimes,I just get a shield knocked down,sometimes I do shield and hull damage and 1 time,I actually killed myself with 2 salvos,one after the other. I love this ship and don't want to part with it-on the other hand, the idea is shoot the OTHER guy down,not yourself yes?

Tylium dosn`t work tried your sugestion with the mod deactiavated & activated no differance plus I have 2 type what lvs I want cannont click on them enstead of hitting any key to continue like it says I hit enter like u said then I launched a char I have at freeport 9 there were 3 battleship groups corsairs /gmc/hessians
and a few bountu hunters 2 boot mu cpu usage went up from 12% 2 85% as I watched the battle the cpu is a p2.4 533 fsb on a p4p800 mb with the hyper thred and 512 meg 300 ddr I am going 2 by more ram but would really like 2 fix the encounters prob
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have about 30 regular players and I can only fit about 8-12 in without crashing probs

Hi,
I have read all the stuff on Rebalance3.40.... I have uninstalled Freelancer cleared all the files and folders, and reinstalled it.....
then I installed the freelancer mod manager to ...."C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager"

then I installed the "freelancersdk-v1.3full.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\Data"

but i can't find the rebalancer mod to activate it
what did i do wrong HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have FLMM properly installed and the other stuff (like SKD 1.3), download the Rebalance v3.4 MOD to ... i guess where ever you want to, so long as you remember WHERE that is. I personally put all downloads into a folder "Web Downloads" on my desktop, and I put all ones reguarding FL into their own folder "FL" inside Web Downloads. This makes it easy to find downloads.
After you've done that, go to that folder or whatever place you saved it to. Double-click the mod (should be called " Flrebalance340full.zip " ), and it should unzip to FLMM. You'll get a message like "Rebablance v3.4 has been successfully unzipped, and is ready to be activated" press OK, and FLMM should pop up with FLBebalance v3.4 there. then just click the mod, press Activate, and you should be good to go.

found another glitch again, in Alaska Prison... I assume you populated it. the problem is when the cutscene that involves President Jacobi, it seems my fighter appears at the same place as that scene...

The scene is when Jacobi is about to become a nomad host...

if he is still reading this.... ghost, slipstream/blackspecter, phantom, death scythe and raven claw was all there.

Hi,
Ok so heres whats going on i landed on a planet....i think its planet greenfield....then i bought a deep scanner mk2 and a tractor beam
heavy, now whenever i try to leave the game just completly stops working, when i alt tab out and goto task manager it says freelancer is not responding...and isnt using any ram...on freelancer....just like 1mb but no processes on it.

Ok i found out that whenever i enter any new systems and go on there planet or base and then dock then undock it freezes.

Hello,

First I would like to say... GREAT MOD!!!!!!!!!!

Second, I would like some help with a problem.
Everything seems to work fine except for the following:
1)upon starting the game, after entering multiplayer, the next series of buttons are all blank.
2)upon joining a server, I have "DEBUG=" before my nickname.
Everything seems to work ok, it is just annoying to have Debug with my nick and blank buttons at the beginning.

note: I have done clean re-install per the instructions 3 times.
I always have the same issue.

where *exactly* are they? in the version of the mod (3.4 from lr) i d/l they are not included and, as stated, they also don't show up in datastorm. is this kinda joke you're running on me ?

To the rebalance /sfs teams I run both your mods on my servers oregon/usa and I have players tha will only play one mod or the other very few cross over I have spent well over $1800 dollars of my money 2 by server boxes in order 2 run these mods( these boxes were custom built by darkmatter the owner of the diskspace at wholesaleprices with out any labor charge) and that dosn`t include the monthly charge 4 the 2 dsl lines .
And now I when I come 2 lancers to read about these mods and try 2 get help with the mods (as u know both mods have server crashing bugs in them) I see all this crap about who deserves credit for this or that and now chips is draged in to it this really freaking ##$%$$# me off.
Darkmatter runes the 1.0 ore/usa t1 server and he uses chips server mod 2 give his players the best freelancer experiance possiable he even fixed chips mod so all players start netural after all its a RPG server but u dont see him crowing about it in the lancers or chips flaiming him 4 doing it.
I love freelancer and both your mods all I want 2 see in these forums is what they r 4 and that is info about the mods and help from their creators with the various probs that WE the players and server operators ask 4 after all with out US nobody would even know about your mods.
We also have a diskspace team member who has a completly bug free verison of the RB 3.30 but wont release it because of this type of crap he dosn`t want to get caught up in any flame out wars when he releases his mods so we the players and sever operators miss out and that really $#$%&&^ me off.
Even now after MD gave me permission to work on the 3.4full he is still some what reluctant 2 do it esp after seeing these posts.
so please lets get back 2 making more killer mods and not flame each other!

Hi there,
Please forgive no going in "how good is this mod".
It is already said.
I just only want to help this mod to become better. If i can.
I have found some bugs(?) during palying thi mod
1.Earth Alliance System
Not appearing on the map (F6)
Trade lanes appear to go beyond the sector.
I can't understand the reason of making planets beyond the maps limits (three corners)
I have to meet Juni at Manhattan planet and the trade lane path (purple) is jumping around. Sometimes points to the sun ???
2.Minbari Empire
Not appearing on the map(F6)
Three suns, at the three corners of the sector with names like a) Nomad reactor jump hole ??? b) K'tinga Destroyer ??? c) Omicron Omega jump hole ???.
The trade lanes are named as Dublin jump hole.
A system with one planet and one station and no mining fields but with many outcasts and corsairs appearing from nowhere. Just dont make any sense. No reason to be there. NO freighters to be found.

I will stop here. Are the systems unfinished ?
