Oh, no! I am piloting a Hydra (very nice, once you get used to freighter-like handling; it makes the later missions quite fun b/c you are able to blow almost anything - Rheinland Cruisers, Nomad Battleships, Nomad generators - to smithereens with ease and to tractor in ALL that loot )
But I've reached the Omicron mission where you have to retrieve the Nomad Powercell, but when I launch, my huge ship gets caught on Osiris' bay doors.
My Hydra gets swallowed back into the cloaked Osiris, so I can see everything around me but I can't move anywhere. I can activate my cruise engines, but I remain stationary . I guess I'm going to have buy the Anubis to complete the campaign.
Please, could a patch be released for this? The Hydra is now my favorite ship, but I'm going to have to sell it and almost all of it's weapons/equipment and cargo to complete the campaign.

I'm afraid is no way to patch for this Rou9ue. I was the one increasing the size of the Hydra so it can match a small capship size. Just buy the Anubis or Sabre and finish the SP Campaign then go buy the Hydra gain.
Still, I'm gonna release a patch that addes a Hydra MkII, that'll have the original size Augur gived and probably just 750 cargo it and you'll be able to use it in the end of SP campaign too...

thanx Ragabash. It was hard work to get the mod this far. I'm proud of what it became and pleased it's so very stable, balanced and fun it this version.
If more fans will ask for it i'll make a Imperial SD addon. In fact i got a SW capital ship pack planned for the next version, including the Nebulon B frigate, Dreadnaught, Assault Frigate, Strike Cruiser, Bulk Cruiser and the Imperator and Victory classes Star Destroyers. So stay tuned, i might even add the massive SSD!!
Btw, Rogue, I made the addon for the type B of teh Hydra Corvette Prototype. Its already uploaded to rebalancemod.com and it'll be posted here on LR very soon. The type B is sold on Osiris and Toledo, and it fits into the Osiris dock bay, being slightly smaller than the original. It retains the firepower but has up to class 9/class 7 dual shields and class 9 weapons plus only 2 class 10 turrets. It's also more maneuvrable than the other variant. It works fine in all SP missions at the end of the campaign.

Ah, okay, great! Thanks a lot; downloading it now ^_^ I can't wait to build my new campaign back up to that point. I DO have to start a new campaign, right?
And the new SW capships sound fantastic!

Very strange view from the Phoenix VHF cockpit. Everything is distorded.
Tne external is normal.

I followed the instruction for installation exactly and loaded the mod. However, everytime i attempt to load up the mod, the title screen is shown for about 5 seconds, then the game just exits out of the program. I cannot get the game to do anything but shut off now. I am really looking forward to playing, but I need some help with this problem first.

I beleive I have had that problem before, Shiffy. I had to reinstall the game :/
First, deactivate all mods, then uninstall FLMM, and uninstall FL itself. Then do a fresh install, install FLMM (I think Beta 11 is the most up-to-date; go to http://igx89.home.comcast.net/FLMM_Downloads.html ), and then try loading the mod.
This happened to me, and I know doing the above stinks but it did work. Good luck, and I hope you get it working! It truly is the greatest mod, IMO.

MD, good improvements...
It crashes about 25 % as much as 3.3 did in multiplayer. Ussually does fine unless traffic in certain areas gets overloaded... like if theres several players fighting those fleets, then crashes sometimes occur. Only error I am finding is with the new Tie defender Mkll. Which is awesome in my opinion... except there are two malfunctioning torpedo slots.. (the 3rd and 4th). Though its not as manueverable as the old one, the extra firepower is nice for us Tie fans. I for one love torps, so haveing four would be nice. The problem only occurs I think when all hardpoints are filled. Then you are unable to fire all your torpedoes. Good Job, keep it up!

By the way, theres a nice server up called Oregon Rebalance, if you look you'll find it. Theres another one thats up alot but has too many rules to be fun.

I'm finally able to play the mod, and I was delighted to learn that the Raven's Claw was now flyable.
Using Data Storm, I found that this beauty is for sale at Stockes Mining Station and Nansei Research Complex, so I went straight there.
Unfortunatly, no ship dealer icon appears in these two places !
The Raven's Claw is anyway in the game, I've seen some of them chasing me around Nansei !
So, is there a way to put my hands on this ship ?

I did everything that the download page said to do, but i cant seem to find it in mod manager... anyone know a solution?

Hey Chibi good to have you back! Well yes the crashes are much lower now and even null if the admin is using low or none encounters in EFA/Edge worlds.
Go ahead and register at www.rebalancemod.com, i think your presence was missed there as much as here in LR....
Btw i fixed the Assault Gunboat textured(were flipped), and i;m curently working on a Wing commander ship pack including:
Panther, Vampire(laredy done), Shrike, Devastator(these 4 are from WCP), Excalibur, Longbow, Gladius, Broadsword, Phantom Banshee and Piranha on the confed side and
Bloodfang, Dralthi, Goran, Jrathek, Jalthi, Kor'larh, Strakha and Vaktoth on the Kilrathi sid.

Ya, my old hard drive went haywire and the end result was the trash can.
But, I just got a new 80 gig so thats why I have been gone for a while. Sadly I lost alot of crap that was not backed up (including the ships I was working on which would go great with your new capship textures). On the up side, I am awaiting a new 3.1 amd motherboard in shipping. When I get that I may be able to host a dedicated server (since I can use my old comp to play on). It goes without saying that I would use rebalance. Anyways its good to be online again. See ya around.

Hmm, well let's hope you get that hot PC online soon, we could certainly use a server as powerfull as that...see you soon.
