I have some question again.

When I in the omicron Gamma buy the millinium falcon 2, And I leave station go out to the space, game always crash.

I try to change buy the other ship in same station, but crash like I buy the millinium falcon 2.

I check the IFSO info show :

Is it mistake ?

I see the mods dir have some batch files, they are:

What are thay do ? and I need to do thay ? or I just only use FLMM to active this mod ?

I can't find about install your mod of readme file. May you can tell me how to do is best and no crash ?

hm, think experienced the same things.
flying a javelin, in Texas i was stuck in Sugarland base. (pics: http://lukr.fpn.hu/freelancer/eng.php) (other bases worked fine)
cluster missiles are realy dangerous. Both missfire (a missile hiting an enemy instantly turns them hostile. Firing some big guns you can take down ships without making them hostile.), and chain reaction.
Once had some serious lag. But took down some cruisers and their wingmen using only cluster missiles and evading "blindly".

Crymson, the capacitors must usually be grouped with shield powercells for best results, and the fusion injectors only make weapons+thrusters recharge faster.
Astro_tsd, lol about that...); just don't fire too many cluster volleys to often, is better to combine clusters with the ship guns for instance. Also you should beware of the Tempest and al flyable capships mass, that causes a lot of inertia and can push you into planets or other things easily. In tyhe sitation you described you could use the Tempest's powerfull strafe to get away from the planet.
jyhong, read the readme.txt file carefully or do a search for ".bat" text and you'll all the explanations about the BAT files, how to use em and how to reverse the effect. i don't know about those server errors but these generally appear with complex mods like Rebalance...

I'm rather new to Rebalance, having only played a very old version that I downloaded off Fileplanet.

Is there any way I can get sounds effects to work? I can't here any of the NPC voices, no explosions, no engine sounds, no music.

Also in Singleplayer, when I attempted to tractor things in, the game crashed to desktop.

I'm in the process of reinstalling the game, to see if this helps.

Also, is there somewhere we can get a list of where all the cool ships are?

Found a fun CTD, do not try to switch from the Kusari Gunboat to the Anteaus fighter on BS York, it will cause a CTD every time, at least for me

Found an odd bug. Every time i see a rumor, the window is blank, no text in it. I am using windows ME. The other windows show their text just fine. Other than that and an odd ctd with the radar jammer on Leeds that I was unable to reproduce, I had no problems with this mod. Great work!

There are two stations in SP with Icons for shipdealer and no ships!

What are those .bat (batch files) for

why can't i insert my mod in your mod. it reports no hi01.ini, but when i look at it in the freelancer folder it is there.

All I do for LOVE

btw. i used method = append and sectionappend in my script.

Elmaster, Windows ME was never designed to be used for Gaming platforms. ME is really a beta version of Windows 2000. MS released the ME version back in 2000 to support the year 2000. Even though there is no proof, basicly MS committed Fraud on consumers. There is no tech support for ME period. There is no upgrades for ME. With MS now fully supporting WinXP home and professional edition, people using Windows ME, 98 series, and 2000 series are going to find themselves SOL unless they upgrade, support for those OS programs ends this year. Your best best would be to think about investing in
WinXP.

I think I real find a bug in this mod.

If you buy the "Radar Jammer" on any ship, when you go out to space, game will crash.

Now I play in this mod and try many time, I am very sure that.

Elmaster- WinME has known issues with the infocard dll files for FL and I am not aware of any fixes for it at this time.

StarNova- Unless you are a MS employee I believe you are incorrect about 2000 support ending this year. I am Win2k certified and therefore have access to the MCP site and MS officially lists Win2k suuport as valid through 2007. Active 98 support ended 2 years ago, now they only provide knowledgebase and driver support for it. Don't have any info on ME tho.

Cardamine- 98 SE is indeed a decent gamers OS but if you configure it right and have the horsepower for it Win2k Pro is a MUCH more solid and relaiable gaming OS. Unless of course you want to play anything made before 2002 :-P

Jyhjong- The radar jammer is to my knowledge still broken and always causes a CTD when launching. The fix for it is know but Mike hasn't had time to add it to the mod as yet AFAIK.

Hmm, i thought i fixed the jammer problem(i separated it from the cloaking device), it must be something else it sliped my checks. gotta go test it again...
Firebase, i don;t know what is the cause for that, perhaps some files are read-only?
Elmaster, switch your system to 98SE, win2k or WinXP. the last is the one i use and the most stable(except win 2k). The sound problem is not caused by the mod but by the improper instalation of the MP3 Layer-3 codec. Head to tecnhical forums to get a complete fix for this problem.
btw i've added your fixed gallofree Crymson and gave it 4 more turrets and a pwerfull class 9 forward gun(this could cause nasty surprises to any unaware atacker...).
I've also played a little with the new Colonial Viper, and it's an outstanding ship. i added 2 more guns, making it have twin laser-torpedo guns on each wing, and a turret. it'll be included in the next version if it's creator will allow it...
Madjedi one the two stations is probably Southampton Shipyard, i know about it.

It is the sectionappend thats what is causing it to not load, have already fixed it.

Now, when i ran fl there is no id for my ships. when i look at your files in the mod directory i saw three flmm#.dll there namely flmm1 to 3 .dll. I use a scripted mod version for my ship pack. it generates its own flmm.dll. I have this problem too in FL - Evolutions by Chips but have fixed it, your's i cannot seem to understand... when i look at your freelancer.ini it seems it is in perfect order. renamed those three flmm#.dll to FR#.dll as i thought that it would fix it but no still my ships has no id in it. It seem it did not generate that unique dll.

What do you think is the problem...?

I'm getting alot of hate mail about the Starwars ships being neigh invulnerable. Is there any way to fix this?
the x-wing isn't bad, but the a-wing and the millenium falcon are insane. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't die like punks when you use missles, torpedos or Magma Hammers(for early xwings).
The starfuries do it to a much lesser extent.
