Beedo: about those not always hostile ships: think they are allied with outcasts, your are hostile with Outcasts, so the attack the enemy of their allies. (it worked this way in "normal" FL)

minbari/narn/centauri all have only 1 planet.

about white star: yes. the cause is that in shiparch.ini the type=(?or something similar) is CAPITAL. capships fly this ways. its not only a rebalance thing, checked in evo. mod, they behave the same.

Change it to freighter, other capships in reb are also "freighter"s


and MD, maybe do you need some help? you said, dont have much time, and i just finished my exams. And although not much, but think i can add some infocards and like.

DNA, the whitestar behaves weirdly because is declared as CAPITAL in shiparch as lukr said. i had to do it this way so it can be shown as a capship in encounters.
thanx for the ofer lukr, you already helped in the fixing of the Damocles. I think i'm gettin close to a new release, so i'll try to put together all the addons, fixes and changes and let loose v3.30 as soon as possible.... here's what hapened so far:
v3.30:
-totally changed and re-designed the cluster missiles as folows:
-now using both ammo and energy
-the normal type is doing half the damage of the original missile.
-the only difference between the normal and homing versions is the better tracking abilities and muzzle velocity of the homing missiles.
-ammo costs one third of the original missiles
-mines are also totally revamped in terms of speed and damage power. Normal mine now have 100 m/s max speed, while the homing versions has 120 m/s. The explosion damage goes from 1500 for the Drone to 6000 to the Screamer.
-this has been done on so the mines can keep up with the speeds of the ships, which is arround 100-110 m/s.
-the Damocles BattleCruiser is now flyable and sold on EFA. Thanx to lukr from our LR forums for the tips to fix it.
-EFA police also uses this ship along with the other three(Naginata, Tempest and Javelin). They're not longer using Liberty capships anymore
-prices for these capships are significantly increased, from 7000k for the Naginata to 54000k for the Damocles.
-added the Starhound Colonial Viper, made by RubberEagle, buyable on BS Yukon and Mississippi, along with its Laser-Torpedo guns.
-added pilots as commodity, any ship will have one, and some will eject when their ship is destroyed.
-fixed the Gallofree medium Transport, added a second shield and a second thruster to it, armamment is now 1/8 guns/turrets. Thanx to Shadowtech for making these changes.
-changed the graphics for different types of pirate/house guns, not all pirate guns are using the LI laser graphics anymore. Tachyon guns hace their own graphics, Neutrons as well and so on. Guns have a personality now.
-the Blood Dragons lasers and special weapon share different graphics now than in previous version. the Kusari photon cannons and the Hyperpulse also share new graphics.
-the Molly's Dublin Dusters fire faster in order to match their house specifications. The Rheinland Stealthblades do more damage as well.
-added new tradelanes in the most logical places, like the crossed one in NW, linking Fort Bush/Baltimore with Westpoint and Planet Manhattan with BS Missouri/Norfolk, one linking Science Station Willard with BS yukon and so on... I'll let you discover the others.
The NY tradelanes are the coolest as they pass quite close to the sun(about 10 k away). don't worry its safe, i tested it...

have you modified the speed of the normal missiles? in 3.20 they are slower than cluster ones.
Still, the balistner is too manoverable, think it woud deserve CAPITAL type (and its strafe speed is over 3k/sec, maybe even more, just measured it on a short 20k trip). And if you could stop capships from spinning... Haven't tried it, but i think Chips solved somehow. And plz, move the turret-camera outside the ship.
(hope you removed millions-in-a-few-second trade routes? lots in EFA)
Is ravens claw re-added?
have you removed capship patrols from mine fields? found another navy patrol close to Graves station in Dublin.
(just because you felt nearly done)


edit: 1 more thing: the loadout of "destroy station" missions-> some missions in bretonia pay 20-30k, pick up a few deep scanners+20-30k. OK, but pick up all the loot+500k!! if you have enough cargo. They usually drop engine components, sell over 1000/cargo @New London

lukr, the high speed of the cluster missiles is not because of their muzzle velocity, but because of them using a cruise disruptor motor. Normal missiles use normal motors so that's why they're slower.
balistner is now less maneuvrable than the damocles, and the camera is moved further away. It's strafe velocity is much lower. Sry I can't stop capships from spinning...
Raven's claw was re-added to several bases in Kusari and Bretonia.
There were not exactly "milions in seconds" trade routes in EFA, but since the capships are now VERY expensive(damocles is 54000k), you'll gonna need all the money you can get...so i reduced only slightly the prices of some commodities on variuos EFA bases.
RM loadouts of battleships and cruiser are now reduced, however thet were not too high before(RM versions carried max 3x25 cargo of commodities)
Capship patrols in mine fields? There were only destroyers and gunboats as enounters in mine or asteroid fields, and those fit in there. perhaps they will not last too long, but that's their job or not? to die for queen an country.... Anyay , they respawn quickly enough...

in a few days, the mod will be ready to upload. I'm testing the SP campaing to make sure the missions are all working.
Oh, and if you're wondering about the super-strafe feature of some ships like the Starfury, Thunderbolt and the EFA capships, it's no more indefintely usable, now it consumes thruster power at the same rate as a thruster. so it's limited to thruster available energy...
The loot in Bretonia-Dublin or Kusari will not worth more than 150 k, and this if you'll sel it at its best price for each comodity.
I've added a secret Zoner Base in an Omicron system, it will have BH missions and sell the Sabre XR prototype.

maybe somebody already've met a problem with invisible linkors
I "saw" one near "New york->kolorado" jump gate
Another was Missouri where i should bring Ashkroft (in mission 2) - i tried to dock but didn't manage ( I was just flying around the ship after pressing button "dock" ) and after some time got a message that game is over bcoz i didn't dock to missouri - BUT I COULDN'T!!!

If somebody knows the solution - pls advice.

Yes, Madjedi. There's gonna be the ships from Firebase's ship pack(if he aproves of course), the Raven Claw as an assault fighter with 8/2 guns and the Death Schyte as a heavy fighter - 6/2 guns.
Also there's gonna be the new Colonial Viper Fighter made by Rubber Eagle, with 4 laser-torpedo guns instead of two.
Oh and i probably forgot to mention, the starter ship is now a Starblazer with 4 guns and one missile launcher.
Qubox, weird error u got there, you should be able to dock with BS Missouri with no problems. I never got this type of bug reported before...:~. What ship were you in at that moment?

2MD: will 3.30 be >40Mb or maybe you can make update version from 3.20 that will only include new and changed files. Downloading 40Mb using modem connection is a bit boring

edit2: finaly I've solved my problem by reinstalling the game and the mod...
it should've been a problem with incompatibility with previously installed mod I suppose...

have you ever thought, some bases have very loosy defenes...? maybe if outcasts realy had those nuke-missiles...

surely, if not, the mod is already very cool, but if you think it would be good...

can u please tell me if there are any mission that ship drop class10 shields in the 3.20sp because i would love to know to know where they are{missions that is} oh!!!radar jammer keeps crashing game no matter what ship i seem to put it in

Please, can You make a regen_draw of shields similar as a regen_rate? It is more realistic. {+ check regen thruster}

Shield capacitor has a regen_draw, but not regen_rate. I think, regen_rate is unsuitable with this equipment. Only shield_capacity is ok ( This device is only capacitor, isn't it? - only increase capacity of shield - )...

Increase speed of mine. It's good idea. Mine with speed 60 is not usable with speed of ships about 100.

Have You any freighter wiht bigger cargo as Fr. liner 54000? For example fr. liner 72000?

Power consumption for engines. GOOOOD.

Please, load to naginata some weap. (Naginata cannon + 2 damocles beam turret + 2 turrets, some weapons, {4×CARG} and change it to fighter. This ship is build as big fighter. SW cruiser too.

Liberty cruiser is better as destroyer. {It use weapons more than cruiser.}

In my game, fc_et_grp, fc_sp_grp, ea_p_grp, me_p_grp, ne_p_grp and ce_p_grp, don't fight. So i change my autosave with simple save editor and make this police factions as big friends. Now, they fight together wiht all pirates in their systems. {rep = 0.9, xx_p_grp}

What ship the ce_p_grp use? It is not centurion...

Is it all?

Can You try to swich off your shield and swihch on only shield capacitor? -> You have shield wiht capacity of your shield capacitor, but without regen_rate. :-) It is usable as shield of cruisers, battleship, naginata wiht weap.. if you switch on any shield power generator, you have shield with regen rate wihthout consumption any energy from main power source :-))))))
