TNG 1.7 Nexus graphic suggestion... major improvement:

For TNG 1.7 there is a cool spiralling black hole in liberty space. Approaching this brings you closer to the event horizon.. which was a little black spheroid thing that was jump-gate-able.

Now.. if you would please fix it.. the event horizon is way to small.. the little black spheroid doesnt FIT RIGHT into the blackhole. See the huge size of the hole? Notice how the spheroid is just a teeny floating thing that doesnt parallax correctly with the blackhole spinning object when you approach it.

Correction: That little spheroid needs to be enlarged about 30 times to fill the space of the blackhole object. That would look way more believable.. and would look a hell of a lot nicer.

True.

BTW; the rest of the mod: VERY COOL.
worth playing. 100 times!

After playing it again, I agree with my post.

The event horizon in the nexus needs to fill that opening tightly.. maybe that will resolve some of the wacky clipping problems that occur when getting closer to the nexus.

Is there a way to increase the gravity well of the nexus as well? In freelancer, some dense objects, stars, and the like have a noticeable tug on the ship..

if you wanna take great pain to fix it then go ahead, youl see it is difficult, also, well thats all i can say really. Theres not much you can do about it.

also, youve noticed drag on your ship?? Ill look into that, but I reckon thats hard coded

a bigger ball will not make the black hole look any better nor will it the clipping, the clipping is due to the fact that the texture is transparent and the shape of the model. On a personal note i think this was a waste of a post.
