I can''t undock from Planet Manhattan...

Not sure if anyone has reported this but whenever I try to leave Planet Manhattan with my Rheinland Battleship I blow up. Am I missing something? I need help bad! I just bought this thing...

Dont ever land on planets in battleships.
they like to smash into the docking ring. but the only way off that planet is to buy another ship.

erm not quite I can dock quite happily with a good ol' Bretonia battle ship but the 1 time I tried it with a Rheinland one I had the same problem. I think it is something to do with it being 'king big!! it gets stuck in the atmosphere the smashes in to the docking ring. The Bretonia is smaller and goes through ok!

I think this is due to the engine speed of the capital ships.

Please open up engine_equip and scroll down to capital_engine.

Change the value from this:

max_force = 50000
linear_drag = 2500

to this:

max_force = 100000
linear_drag = 5000

the ship isnt getting stuck the docking ring itself, it is getting stuck on the turrets that are stuck to it, try removing them and see what happens (but dont play on servers after doing that)
