CMP Importer for Milkshape3D...

I'm wanting to use the Milkshape3D CMP Importer plugin to import some of the ship models from the original game and use them as the basis for my own ship without having to build it from scratch, but the plug in crashes my version of Milkshape3D. I'm using version 1.01 of the plugin and version 1.8.0 of the program itself, on a WindowsXP system. I've noticed that people have had problems in the past with the original version of this plugin causing crashes, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten it to work on WindowsXP at all, and if so, how?

If not, and someone does have a working version, could I possibly get someone to make the milkshape versions of the models for the Kusari and Border Worlds fighters available for download somewhere, like at http://www.megashares.com/ or something?

I use the Milkshape 1.7.5 with the cmp importer. It works very good ... mostly...
except for certain really complex items that turn out looking like a notorious mess (such as the Hispania and nomad lair). But for most other items, it works fine.

I don't have an older version of Milkshape. Is there anyplace anyone knows of where I could get 1.7.5 or 1.7.6 (I was looking through the forums at the milkshape sight and some of the posts there indicate that 1.7.6 will also work, but nothing newer than that)?

Never mind, I found a copy of 1.7.6 available for download.

Drake1132 if you check my posts in this thread you'll find all of the ships that the importer will load, all of the mesh errors that the importer causes have been fixed and they even have the DDS textures.
