Make sure you have a model in Milkshape to create a SUR from, then click the "browse" button & select the directory you want the SUR saved to, give it a name and click save, the "OK" button will only become active after it has some place to save the SUR to.

just copy an existing ship's sur, and resize it to the ship's cmp with flmodeltool (and make all parts = root true) - you don't need custom surs unless you're really serious about making true FL ships

Beejay,
I followed your instructions and when the exporter was fin, it gave me an error saying that the verts weren't welded or something like that. But it did save, and I was able to open it in the FLModel Tool and also view it in HardCMP.

CV,
Even if I found a sur file that would work w/my ship's cmp, I wouldn't know where to look in that app to figure out where or what to mess w/ to be able to modify it to my needs. So many triangle reference numbers, it's overwhelming.
