Freelancer Explorer (questions)

short and simple.... how do i make jumpholes and jumpgates? then how do i program them to go whare i wish for them to?

Post Sat Aug 12, 2006 1:24 pm

double click on a system you want a jumpgate/hole to start. Right click where you want it to start, either choose Junp Gate start or Jump Hole Start, then double click in an empty space to get back to the sirius map, double click on the system where you want the gate/hole to lead to. Double clcik where you want the gate to be. If earlier you selected Jump Hole start, Press Jump Hole End.
If earlier you selected Jump Gate start, press Jump gate end.

Hope this helps.

Read this simple tutorial below.
--------------------------------------
Step 1: Right click and create a new system (If wanting to create a new system do so, if not skip to step 3.)
Step 2: Click 'ADD' to save the system.
Step 3: Right click on that system then press 'EDIT'.
Step 4: On the left bar you should see Jump Gate/Hole (It won't be greyed out any more)
Step 5: Click on that Jump Gate/Hole
Step 6: Choose Jump Gate or Jump Hole and press 'OK'.
Step 7: Select position on map with left-click.
Step 8: If done, a new dialogue should appear saying 'Choose Destination'. If so choose your destination.
Step 9: A new map should open up. Click on 'Set Position' and then select the position.
Step 10: That dialogue should disappear with a new one showing that says 'Legal Path, Type:'. Do not edit anything else but those.
Step 11: Select 'Ok' when finished.
Step 12: Select 'ADD' and then applychanges/update mod.

So there you have it.

Enjoy adding holes and gates in FLE,
Dudeofthed.
