Need some help please

I have installed Starlancer on my system
windows XP
the install runs just fine.
But when i attack an enemy the game does a CTD

tried compatibility mode but this does not seem to help.
is there a patch out there ?

No patches I could find I'm afraid... I get crashes once in a while too.

I use Windows 2000 compatibility mode (for force feedback support in my case).

Hmmm...have you tried closing down all nonessential programs? Those seem to increase my crashes in the game...

turn off EAX in the options screen for SL. just have ordinary stereo sound.

Taw's solution will fix most of the crashes. Beware of the Win-2000 compatibility mode... while this helps some, it causes the game to crash at load for me!
