Joystick or mouse

With Starlancer, do you HAVE to use a joystick, or can you just use a mouse?

Joystick or keboard only. So it boils down to joystick only - which is why it will always be a superior game to Freelancer (and thats without taking the whole shield batteries / nanobots bollocks into account!)

Ban REVERSE THRUST! Fly something other than a phoenix for a change!

So...........with the keyboard you have to use keys to go up and down?

But with the Joystick, you still use the keyboard anyway to divert power/activate stuff...thats sort of thing

Sidewinder Precision Pro 2 works most excellently for this. I have absolutely no problem with a keyboard/joystick layout. The keystrokes are default programmed rather nicely, and stick in your mind well after a few battles.
