Starlancer newbye questions

I buyed Freelancer on Ebay, still don't received it, but before want to buy and try Starlancer. But have some questions:

-Is true that you fly americans against russians??

-Other nations appears on the game?? And spain??

-And the most important, Can I fly anyway for the "BAD" guys?? I always loved russian girls lol

thank's for your help!!

Yes, you fly as the Americans, and yes, it's against the Russians. They aren't THE Bad guy, the game is played the Alliance Versus the Coalition. I always took it to be NATO versus the Warsaw Pact, so yes to your third question, too, there are other nations in the game. Japan, Britain, American, France, Italy, and Germany all have a role in the game (even if they just get mentioned once or twice during various news briefs).

Lastly, there is not way "in game" to fly as the Bad Guys (the Russians). You can however, use the modding tools provided her at TLR to swap good guy ships with bad guy ships, if you had the time and the inclination.

Also, on a side note, playing Starlancer before Freelancer isn't really necessary - yes the games are connected, but there's 800 years of history between them. They certainly compliment each other well, playing Starlancer explains nicely how the Freelancer universe is carried out, but both Starlancer and Freelancer stand up well on their own, albeit as differant sorts of games.

No, Stratos, you can't fly for the Russians - you can only fly their ships, but only for the Alliance.

The Kossac is great for switching. It's firepower is obscenely good.

it was never said that the player is american... even the fact that they are stationed on an US ship doesnt mean that those guys are america

its more likely that the 45th is an international team

I believe it says that in the squadron profiles screen on the ITAC.
