Black this and that

Have you noticed the coalition's fascination with the color black? Along with the black gaurd, there are several other 'black" wings whose name escapes me at the moment. Black's not exactly a designation of respect or anything in Coalition countries, so why did DA but so many black wings in, aside from making the coalition seem even more evil. --- Vh16

you hit it dead on... evil just by calling them the colation they soud a bit evil DA and others do there best to make the Colation look evil

EDIT: also if space is often black then a black ship is harder for you to see. (hmm nebula color ship.)

They also have the habbit of screaming AFTER their ship has vaporised. And Moose tells his same line about floral delivery, which gets quite old afer a while. --- VH16

MORE disturbing is his 'all the way man, all the way!'

My fist thought when i heard that line:
'LET ME OUT OF THIS SHIP! HES FU**ING GONNA R**E ME!'

I have to disagree - his announcement that he's taking over the ship and getting you to face the firing squad is the worst
Speaking of Russian - I haven't heard a line, and the fact that their English sounds weird can be attributed to their nationalities - AFAIK, none of them are English-speaking. In comparison, Mukai also has his Japanese accent (hearing "pirate" instead of "pilot" is kinda funny) as has Steiner and the Bremen control (only this time it's German). Strangely enough, I haven't noticed any French accent in Frenchy's talk (or maybe I haven't noticed if he's in my wing ).
Another thing, you're never the wing leader, but your ship always has the first position in the formation.
Oh, and the black thing - I guess black is usually supposed to be ominous, so the color is used in the forces to show that they should be feared. If I had an army, I'd use a lot of black color

Naw, you should use pink, because then your enemies are over-confident, and when they loose they can be all like, "We lost to the Pink Bunnies?" and the news is all like "Jonathan The Butcher Orion and his dreaded Pink Bunny brigade..." and it would be sweet. --- VH16

Don't pooh-pooh bunnies people! Have you forgotten the killer rabbit in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" so soon?

Post Mon Sep 13, 2004 3:17 pm

That's a rabbit, we're talking bunnies here. Big difference. Especially when they're pink. --- VH16

Who would know more about bunnies/rabbits than Esquilax?

He may or may not know the difference, but he's acting like he doesn't. --- VH16
