Starlancer is "out". Nobody play the game since Freelancer.

Well I still play Starlancer, more so than Freelancer in fact.

The reason I play Starlancer is because I enjoy playing Combat Space Sims, not silly pretend arcady sims where the only skill is how fast you can move your mouse pointer around a monitor screen.

In Freelancer there is no such thing as a 'dogfight', it's just a series of head-to-head passes whilst firing at the other space craft. The joy of getting on an enemy space crafts six o'clock, and twisting and burning as he tries to shake you is lost in Freelancer.

If anybody is interested in playing some coop Starlancer campaign, then reply here with a message.

Btw, I'm on English time at this end.

Just got Starlancer for $4.00, and I love it more than I do Freelancer. Anyway, it would be cool to co-op with somebody but I only have a 56k modem. Sucks, I know.

I'm interested in playing online too. Yesterday I logged on using TCP/IP and when it asked my to put in an IP address I left it blank and hit find games. It didn't find any though. Does that mean nobody was hosting a game at that time or that I need to enter an IP address to find somebody? Or was I choosing the wrong option entirely? Maybe I should go to gamespy and see if there is anything there that will help.

Anyway, I'm up for a Deathmatch or Co-op. I'm on 56k and the test games I ran (by myself) run beautifully.

My timezone is GMT-7 (during daylight savings time), same time as Los Angeles. Post up a day and time and I will try to show up. If you need help figuring out your timezone, read this short webpage:

I posted a new subject about it, so go there and add my e-mail, I'm always up for a game. Don't cry if you get owned tho.
