help, request

my problem is that I can't get it started, I have been playing it and Suddenly i can't get the program running, since at first was going perfectly, then after some mission it started crashing (I still passed to mission 14) and finally it just says the exe file won't run because of some problem, Already reinstalled it, didn't do the trick, I really want to finish it.

since I have tried everything I can do, I was wondering that since the problem is originated in the exe file, I was thinking if someone could put in the exe file on the download section.

If only microsoft had finished the patch...
envy to those that enjoy the game

Erm, why do I have a feeling this is a pirate thingy?

An idea came to my head and is now desperately searching for brain

Offering the FL executable on TLR would be risky, and could result in legal entanglements because it is copyrighted software.

Just want to make it clear, I am no pirate, I don't do that sort of thing if there IS a legal way, (I was thinking of getting the tropico game, a friend of mine told me he could pass it to me, I however bought the game).
I didn't downloaded the game, I bought it in EBGAMES AT 1.99 + tax.
now, I'm sorry I requested that, I'm just desperate to finish the game, because I really liked the story, and I want to see it by myself.
Sorry I aksed that again, guess I will just have to wait patiently until there a way to play it again.

Don't worry about it . Yell me, what is your problem exactly? What kinds of error messages do you see? I need more information before I can be of any assistance.

I seem to have a problem with the game not crashing... what i mean is that when i play it, it crashes after about a min or so in the flight combat. i've tried it in the instant action and in the flight sim in the sp storyline and it does it in both places. Help, i've looked for some sort of update but i can't find one. Can anyone tell me what is up...I don't get any error messages it just goes completely out of the game like i shut it down...i asked a friend of mine who got to play it before i did if he had the same prob and he said that he did so i don't think it's just my comp. let me know what you think....

Well, When I select the exe file it goes the:

"StarLancer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

And the error report comes before launching, Only chrashed about 2 times, in 11th mission, (after I played it again for a better score, I think is the one about the CZAR or the next one) and the 14th mission, then the PC didn't want to run the game any more, do you know something about it, that could help?

Thanks for any info about it

To all concerned - I believe that the majority of problems with SL are caused by having the "3D Sound" checkbox enabled. If you are still having problems and you have not selected this option, then there are only two things that I can suggest. One is to try a No-CD patch (I'm telling you where; TLR rules, Sorry!), the other is to play around with the "Compatibility Settings" in Windows XP. Apart from that, make sure that you have the latest drivers for all of your hardware, and an up-to-date version of Directx (9.0b).

This sort of problems occur with older games (particularly on XP). Good Luck!

hope that may fix the issue in the exe file, I won't lose too much by trying it, thanks
