Rear Gun

What's the deal with the rear gun? Does it actually do anything? Or is it just there for show? Seems kinda dumb that they included a weapon that doesn't work...

While testing guns against a stationary Wolverine it's rear turret tracked and fired upon my Crusader - briefly. I've been unable to duplicate this action!

I've tried flying in the appalling 3rd person view so that I could see my rear turret. No matter how much I leave myself open to coalition fighters getting on my tail I have NEVER seen my rear gunner fire back.

I'm not sure that I want Moose using my gun energy anyway . . .

I was unaware that one existed! As for the rear gunner bit, is there anything to suggest there is one?

Occasionally I've seen it rotated around when landing after a mission, but I've never seen it actually fire.

Moose has to do something back there doesn't he? Well, something other than blab his mouth off. As for the 3rd person dealie, I use it as I find it easier than 1st person, and I never remember seeing it fire. Then again I almost never let anything get behind me .
