Azan - looks like a helicopter gunship crossed with the dropship from 'Aliens'. Flies nicely too if you swap it for one of the Alliance fighters using SL edit. But it needs more than a single hardpoint.

I like the Basilisks, though Loki is also an interesting fighter.

Basilisk, you can't say no to that cloak .

The Basilisk is probably the most effective, but the Azan looks cooler than the rest of them combined.

A LAGG can be fun since it has more forward mounted guns than anythig else I've flown. One 2 second burst and whatever is infront of you dies.

is that your sig? if not, well, i fly around wtih the coyote even in later missions if its a simple one that doesnt demand heavy fire power. the shroud if i want to have fun.

The Laag always caught me off-guard. And with guns like those, you gotta keep an eye on 'em.

I have to agree with the person who started it. When using Sl Edit to use the Saber, I can't get enough of that fighter...though I mostly like to fly torpedo bombers.

I like Sabres... they look more like 'fighters' than the others. And they die so quick my kill-board rank rises faster than a fire rises in a petrol station...

Sabers? I think they are so ugly, i would prefer the haidar or the loki and even the torp bomber looks better than the saber... oh and my favourite aliance fighter is ofcourse the shroud...oh it looks so good if only they would have made it in freelancer....
