ITAC annotations?

Got a Starlancer newbie question here. The manual that came with the game mentions an annotation feature that allows you to add your own notes to existing ITAC entries (page 2). Any idea how to do this? I've been messing with the ITAC controls for a while, and can't seem to find it.

I don't think so, sorry. Besides I don't remember my manual claiming so.

There is no way to add you own stuff to ITAC. There is the news that updates as you do missions, but other than that, you'll have to deal with a pen and paper.
