@Eraser: actually by your example, Allied Nations Ship is more appropriate because it means the "ship that belongs to several nations that are allied" analogous to United States Ship - meaning a "ship that belongs to several states that are united".

Yes, but the Allied Nations were called the Western Alliance or just Alliance and not Allied Nations, and since the Reliant is part of the Alliance Navy, Alliance Navy Ship seems more appropriate IMO

Though I guess nobody knows for sure...
