Found another Possible way to get rid of Crash-to-Desktop in

OK I had EAX diabled, but on mission 25 or something it would still crash to desktop with no error message.

I experimented with other ways to be rid of it, but still found nothing. I have a Geforce 4 MX440 and I believe I've found a new solution that could work (I've tried it, not extensively, but it seems to work).

Disable V-Sync for your card! You can't do this in Starlancer's option menu, so you need to set the drivers to do it for you. For Nvidia cards go to www.planetshogo.com and there should be a registry entry to fix it... or I think the latest Nvidia drivers (possibly ATI ones, too) have the V-Sync option in there automatically. It must be the V-sync for Direct3D because Starlancer uses that.

Post messages to see if this works for you if you still get CTD errors w/out EAX

ok, seems a good thing, anyway, worth consindering. However, there is no mission 25 - the game ends with mission 24. Sometimes the prequel missions are considered to be extra missions, but they aren't. sad, but true.

I don't have a drinking problem. I drink. I get drunk. I fall down. No problem.
