Starlancer preset for Firestorm pad?

I just bought Starlancer and installed my Firestorm gamepad that I got as a present sometime ago. I don't feel like using the keyboard for this game.
Is there anyone who has a preset for the right button configuration since I never programmed the pad before and I used to play Wing Commander with a
gamepad on playstation. I've tried there website(Thrustmaster) but that didn't help.
I gues the downside of PC is that you have to figure out quite alot before you can play.
If you have a solution to my problem I'll appriciate it enormously.

Why not trying to play it with a joystick?

Is that how most people play it? With a joystick? I can barely imagine playing complicated controls, I don't know how many but a lot, with a joystick.
Anyway, I don't have one but I do have this beautiful Firestorm pad with rubber feel! There must be somebody who's in the same situation as I am.

Gah, I played it with a keyboard. Seriously. And I loved it! better than JS. But that's just me. Most people do recommend joystick.
