Sidewinder FF2 Problem

Hi guys,
I have just bought SL and wanted to play, but I have a big Problem with my Joystick. The FF isn't working at all until I collide with a ship/station...then all motors of the stick are diactivated. It doesn't return to the center making it imposible to play.

I have a Microsoft Sindewinder Force Feedback 2.
There are (afaik) no driver updates available (SL or SWFF2).
Force Feedback in the SL optionsmenu is activated.

I'll be very happy if someone could help me with this

Try disabling FF.
If you have another USB joystick/wheel you will have to unplug it.
(I have a sidewinder FF2 and a sidewinder FF wheel: no way
to make SL use the stick instead of the wheel !)
Hope you'll have the FF working, I didn't manage to do so.
(sometimes, 5-10s after a collision, the stick is a very little bit shacking,
but that's all. No menu to configure FF :-( )

I use a FF2 and it works fine. Might be something wrong with the Joystick itself.

i got my FF2 just to play SL with it, there's even a specific setup just for SL. i've never had any trouble with it. I'd take it back to the shop and swap it.
