question: money-giving jumpholes

i read somewhere about adding a trigger to something you dock so it would add or subtract credits from your account...
what i want to do is to reverse it so the hole would GIVE you money instead of take away

here's the trigger

[trigger
nickname: start
Act_AdjAcct= -500

this should take away 500 credits to your account
if i make it a positive number, say, Act_AdjAcct= 5000, then it should give you 5k creds
but WHERE do i put it?
and what should the nickname really be?

does it matter where i put this tab? like. if i put after one jumphole's code, would the trigger connect to THAT hole? or would it just BE there and do absolutely nothing? =P

As I said in my other post, triggers don't work in multiplayer, so you can't make a jh that gives/takes money from you. The guy that made it work hacked his way through some files, which is something the average joe can't do because it makes no sense

i was actually thinking about doing this on singleplayer =P lol

my game kind of crashes every time i try multiplayer.... the server kicks me off - most likely because the server doesnt have the same mods as me XD lol

edit: or because it doesnt like me... it always says low ping rate and kicks me off... >_< (note that i do have broadband... pretty fast one at that. lol)

If you've got mods running and try to connect to a server without the same mods, you'll definitely crash. I'd advise not doing this unless you have permission from the server owner to be using mods that they don't run - usually it's considered cheating.

oh.. that explains it lol

i'll make sure to run vanilla from now on when i play online

but it IS possible to create triggers for the OFFline version right?
i mean
without editing any DLL's, purely using FLMM o_o;;

... right? >.<;

I think so. You'd have to find something to cause the trigger to happen - just check out the single player mission files and try to figure them out.

My helpfulness on triggers will end there
