How to replace Bloodhound?

Heya

Wonder if anyone could point me to a tutorial which will help me replace any of the pirate ships in FL.

I am just wanting to do this for myself but my goal is to replace bloodhounds with tie's for now.

Well, if you wish to replace it get the mod for the tie fighters... and open up your DATA\EQUIPMENT\market_ships.ini

find the base which you want to edit.. like rochester (LI01_13) and modify this line....
marketgood = pf_package, 2, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1
to
marketgood = pf_package, 2, -1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1
and add your Tie fighter marketgood from the place it is normally sold to the end of this.... now if your wanting to modify the rogue's ships in encounters to be like that too... look at the creating factions tutorial to see how Chips edits those parts of the faction....

Then goto the capital ships encounters tutorial to see how to change their ships in an encounter... i think....

or take the name of TIE Fighter's model and replace the Bloodhound model tag in shiparch.ini
