Adding new commodities

I read through the tutorial on editting commodity information, but I didn't see anything about how to add a completely NEW commodity. Did I miss something?

Is there a tutorial on how to do this? I don't want to replace or remove any of the existing commodities, I just want to create my own.

Any help is appreciated. 500 units of cardamine to the person who solves this one for me. Just don't tell the Liberty Police.

You can add new commodities by copying the commodity in the goods.ini and adding it to a base. However, you wont get new name/descriptions. I dont think anyone know how to do descriptions on commoditities.

Rats. Yeah, what I was looking for was a way to create entirely new commodities; new name, new description, etc.

Guess not....or not yet, anyway...

Look at the date on the original posts. I think you will find adding new commodities to the game has been well covered since then.
