i think the mouse cursors animation is lagging my computer, also i don't like my font that small otherwise its really cool.could we get a winamp skin please?

Post Wed Sep 07, 2005 5:57 am

I know you all hate that font! I've already changed it to something MUCH more readable. Mouse animations shouldn't lag you computer. You must have an extremely bad computer if they do. However, i don't think they are. There is the illusion that it is because the only mouse animations are the Busy and Working animations, which happen when your computer is... Working! And is thus laggy.

Should i just release my current version and supply the screensaver as an add-on later?

EDIT: Does anyone have any idea where Windows stores its sound schemes?

HELLO! I have a Win2k operating system and no, the theme does NOT work. Maybe if you put them all inside a *.desktop file and used them for desktopX or some other program? If you can, I'm sure all of us with a Win2k will enjoy it.

A screenshot or two would be really nice actually, so that they may see some affects this creates...

To my last question, i found where windows stores the sound schemes. My next version will include an installer/uninstaller and all its sounds will work. Plus it will have a screensaver. I'm still debating on what kind though... You'll have to wait and see.

To the Win2k people, i have recieved confirmation that double-clicking the *.theme file does not work. For now, you have to manually install it. However, if you can get me more details about this *.desktop file format you speak of, i will attempt to make an alternate version for you.

And as an additional reminder, i did not make the windows media player skin, and i do not have permission to modify it, so any modification requests should be directed at Leonhart.

Finally, SCREENSHOTS FOR ALL! ^^

Post Thu Sep 15, 2005 3:13 pm

its looking real nice

one suggestion tho, I think it would look pritty cool if u were to use FL console background for the start menu

here is what I mean

Post Thu Sep 15, 2005 4:30 pm

impossible.

I changed everything that it is possible to change without using Windowblinds.

Additionally, i have no idea on how to make a winamp skin. I didn't make the windows media player skin, and i have no idea on how to make a winamp skin.

And Windows media player isn't THAT bad. Christ, what is it with you people and microsoft?!

Hey Blackhole!

Is it possible for you to make an XP version of your theme in addition to your classic version? Thanks.

Post Thu Sep 15, 2005 8:14 pm

The reason i made it classical is that i'm gonna have to do a little hacking in order to get at changing the XP colors. I plan on testing it out with the XTS theme. If it works for that, hell yes i'll make it an XP version! ^^ But yeah, the reason its classical is because i have to make it classical... at least right now
