Y'all want people to register to join your website and join this mod's... group... but you don't even have any screenies???

At the very least... if you've got concept renders, drawings... anything , that's a lot better advertisement than a one line post, however enthusiastic... I understand y'all think this is going to be great, but to communicate that to the rest of us... maybe I'm just a weirdo here, but I'd like to see some visuals.

Nope, and I wouldn't download their Alpha, either... sorry, but I think that screenies are a must- I want to see that the mod's quality is high enough to bother with. Very few mods stay on my HD, and they all have high-quality visuals:

Free Worlds
Evolutions
Privateer

Those are the models that every good mod team should be aiming for... and guess what? They all have screenies available. It's proof positive that a mod is what it claims to be, and not just crappy vaporware like so many of them are...

At any rate... I didn't start this intending to give you a hard time, honestly... I'm sure your mod will rule when it's done, and the premise sounds interesting. I just think that if you're going to promote it... then do it right, and show us the goods. You'll be a lot more likely to get people interested, if you've got some good eye-candy...

I'm commited to Tides of War really. It's really shaping up now, had a 10 v 10 battle the other day. It'd be nice to see you there, Argh.

I'll make you some more next time I'm on. However, due to a slight bug, some of us see FL backrounds and some see Star Wars backround. I see FL, so they wont look quite right.
