Star Wars: Tides of War MOD Update
After a mix-up about the release date, the alpha version of the mod was not released on Xmas Day. The new estimate is two to three weeks from now, so here’s a sneak preview of what will be in the Alpha: (please note: this does not represent the final version at all)
Systems: Coruscant, Ralltiir, Kuat, Balmorra, and Corellia. The final version of the mod will contain over 50 systems.
Stations: All will currently be standard FL. The Alpha version of the MOD is mainly designed to test the ships. Eventually we will have some real Star Wars Station models.
Stars: Will have better effects in the final version
Engine Effects: Capital Ship Engine effects won’t be too good in this version, but the final ones will be all original and designed to like Star Wars.
Guns: All Fighter guns are below, and all Capital Ship guns come pre-mounted and can’t be changed, also, most Capital ship guns will look to small, as we are still using FL guns and not our custom ones. (They are being designed at the moment.)
Taim & Bak KX-5 laser cannon (standard)
Borstel RG-6 laser cannon (fast, weaker)
Tenloss TX-12 laser cannon (slow, stronger)
Armek SW-2 ion cannon (standard)
Borstel RK-8 ion cannon (fast, weaker)
Borstel RM-2 ion cannon (slow, stronger)
Taim & Bak H3 laser turret (standard)
CEC AG-2G quad laser turret (fast, power hungry)
Krupx MG-5 concussion missile launcher
Krupx MG-7 proton torpedo launcher
Infocards: There will be no infocards yet, these will be one of the last things added ofthe final version of the MOD.
