The Ultimate Star Wars TC

Alexandus is seeking a mod team!

The vision: The best Star Wars TC ever...
The mod setting: Star Wars during the Galactic Civil War Era.
The reason for this vision: No mod has had the depth of systems, ships, and roleplay value that can be perceived as "great". The mod I seek will be solely for roleplaying. The entire mod is planned out...only thing needed are people that share the vision of the ultimate Star Wars TC mod and are willing and able to assist in its construction.

when you say "Total Conversion" you mean every pretty much a whole new game (story, systems, ships etc.) yes?

If so you might wnat to look into converting jump gates into hyperspace waypoints that you dock with or something (just a thought)

But what ever the case I'm a big SW fan and will be looking froward to your mod

This mod is nearing beta release, and here are some of the things that will be included in the mod:

-Server will be Roleplay ONLY, so be sure to watch for the tags that are available to you when you start your first character
-The Civilian tag, noted by [CIV in front of your name will encompass many things, from a standard civilian, trader, smuggler, and even your everyday pirate
-Capships will be playable, but only by ranking officials in the Empire, Rebellion, and the only organized pirate group in the game, the Black Sun
-Each planet in the Star Wars universe will be its own "system" by Freelancer standards.
-There are NO THRUSTERS + ENGINE KILL in this mod, since there was no such things as these in the Star Wars universe
-The only ships that will be customizable (which will only be with weapons) will be civilian vessels. All other ships will come with stock weapons/shields etc.
-There will be no cruise either with the ships. To travel from place to place in a planetary system, use the tradelanes (which have been modified severely to act as inner-system hyperspace travel)
-There will be Imperial Checkpoints scattered throughout the Core Systems, which will act as their own "system" in Freelancer. At these checkpoints Imperial units will scan you for contraband, so if you are a smuggler, TURN THE OTHER WAY AND LEAVE...unless you like being chased by Imperials!
-A unique Bounty Hunter system has been established, and details will be released with the final release of the mod

To answer the previous question, this mod will be MP ONLY. Sorry for the trouble that this may cause, but we are basing this mod on Multiplayer roleplay, trade and interactivity.
