If someone wants to get permission to use these ships in their mod, please, feel very free to email me @ [email protected] and i will contact you ASAP...I also have a ton more models that are completed, and will be in version 2.0...

ALSO, occasionally, the Osiris gets stuck coming out of the dock...this is a known problem according to Wanderer, and all you have to do to get her out is as soon as the cinematic ends, put throttle to max and you should make it. I'll work on the problem though, as i go...I will have to check out duriel's capship dock fix, and will implement it for the next version for sure. I truly hope you all like the ships. What my goal is, for this ship pack, is to give players a LOT of choices in ships, as we all know how boring it gets when each house only has maybe one VHF. Please, keep an eye out for the next version, which will have freighters, two new gunboats (one for liberty finally), and a few ship lines (i.e. light, heavy, very heavy) smeared around space for your enjoyment.

Thanks again, and i hope you enjoy the mod, i worked hard (loooootttttssss of reading these forums here!) And i want to thank everyone that posts tutorials...you guys TOTALLY own.

Very nice ships, I may want a few of them in the future. I am now looking forward to seeing v2.0.

I'm impressed by your ships. The ultra-feathery one is really cool looking for something different from other games' fighters. Have you contacted Chips? He has lots of room for great fighters like yours.

Keep up the good work.

Will this mod work without the SDK decompressor thing? Would it work with only the freelancer modification manager alone?
Please let me know Soon.

It's always a good idea to use the SDK, but i *think* it would work just fine without it...with FLMM alone...Try it, it shouldn't hurt anything...worst that could happen is re-install FL, which is always good to do every now and then if you use a lot of mods.

Some news.....I'm working on a mod with Tempest Studios...they are getting some exclusive ships, and also, doing some ships for Rebalance. Aside from that, i have 2 new ship lines, light, heavy, Very Heavy, and some freighters and assorted ships for the next ship pack, which will be done soon. I'm thinking about adding some new weapons as well, as i have learned to make them (models to the ini's) for the ships, and am working with Orillion from the Tempest Studios team on making some new bases to house these ships. I find it boring to just stick em at bases you've been to 1000000 times, so we're going for some variety there. Again i hope everyone enjoys the ships, and know that there will be more, and they are (to me) getting better and better, and still staying within the FL universe look for the most part. In the next pack i am also going to be doing some new Nomad ships as well.

Thanks for downloading the pack and for the nice comments guys!

"If someone wants to get permission to use these ships in their mod, ..."

How about, instead of redistributing your mod, one makes a script that (if someone already has your mod) takes advantage of it's existance? (the data in the SHIPS folder would have to be copied but it'd cut down on over-all size)

The reason I'm asking is that I'm working on a mod. And while there are few ship packs that I'd want to have being usable in it (currently only 3), I don't want to bloat mine up by including other peoples mods/ships IN it, but simply supplying a script file that (if the external mod exists) uses it's data to add the ships/equipment/etc to the game.

This way, people would have to have your mod in order to use it in mine, which I think is alot more fair and would see more use for both of them. Hopefully.
