extract them into C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod manager\mods
? And then activate and choose a Freighter you wish to start on...

Or maybe you need FLMM Beta 10 - 11...
But follow the steps above.

Sory for not replying earlier..

Dont worry. It works now. I uninstalled and then reinstalled everything.

I have come across similar problems. You can dl the file to the appropriate folder in the FLMM folder, but beyond that it has no affect on the FLMM that I can see. There is no file which would allow you to "activate" any mods manually and as far as I can see, the mod is structured without one of the required folders (Which I know nothing about, I just saw it when the FLMM said it could not read the folder or something ) and so is un-usuable, unless this is just me.

An explanation as to how to use this mod would be extremely helpful.

I got this error with FLMM v. 1.3

<pre><font size=1 face=Courier>Unable to load mod!
Error: This mod (TrentStartingShipsLightFighters) doesn't contain any files
under the DATA, DLLS, or BIN folders, so it wouldn't modify anything!
Check the folder structure for this mod. </font></pre>

The solution is go into the directory of the ship that you want to fly,
Copy the script.xml file to the directory: TrentStartingShipsLightFighters
that will solve the problem.
