Freelancer : TNG Patch Updates on fixed bugs/problems

Okies I will be making an *unofficial" Fl TNG patch. U guys have been complaining and i want u to enjoy urselves! if i get the boot i dont mind, I helped u enjoy TNG more!

V1.1 PATCH--- WILL INCLUDE...
1Two bases selling things no longer, due to request from a team member, i just copied manhattans entry and pasted it into the others, you still have to go to freemans to get some things
2 sluggishness of light fighters gone, flying the starflyer now is phreaky
3 Will replace new mission inis with original ones (that is the only way it appears to be crashing)
Soon to be released at a computer near you!

It better, because otherwise it's impossible for it causing the error any other way

Everyone:

I am sorry for allt he confusion and bugs! I accidently uploaded the wrong version from my computer it was the OLD version and not the current one I have.

I will take a look at the bugs suggest and re-uploaded the new version.

Really sorry about this I was in a huge hurry on Friday and wasn't watching what I was doing.

Also I wanted to make sure people understood some things..

1: You will NO LONGER see animation for docking. That is part of the fix and WHY battleships can dock with bases without docking rings. If you remember large ships got stuck in the cinematics and would stay that way, so we removed the cinematics.

2: I cannot control the size of the blackholes they are hard coded. You people have been asking for them and now you don't like them? Be careful for what you ak for next time.

3: People say it is to easy, right now YES, no shield regen, NPC do not have the correct loadout, the mod is #$%# up right now!

4: As stated the mod I uploaded was about a week old. ALOT has been updated and problems ahve been fixed. I will upload a new version soon.

I've cut my vacation short so i can fix this thing.

Please do NOT download the patch. I need to tlak this over with my team as I have NO IDEA what has been done.

Hi I have problem with Detroit Munitions, I can't get out!
Every time I launch from the station I end up inside the structure and the only was out is to ram the side and get a laser through then blow up the station!!

I was wondering if you could try to get some of the cemantics to work with only the smaller ships. Docking Cemantics brought out the realism of the game.

There is no way to seperate the cimatic from small and larger ships, we tried This is the only docking solution for large ships without docking rings though They kept getting stuck in the cinematics.

I wasn't sure where best to post this, but I think I've got a problem with TNG 1.4.
The first character I made couldn' buy equipment (the list was blank) anywhere that I went to. I circled from Manhatten south to New Berlin, to Freeport 1 to New london. I spent a lot of time running because I couldn't buy Sheilds or nanobots anywhere.
The second character I made surprised me and allowed me to purchase at manhattan, but no where else.
If it's not a bug, how does this work?

Sounds like you got an old (v1.0 most likely) version of TNG. Head over to Starfyre Studio's official page (http://www.planetirg.net/) & download the most recent version of this mod. To clarify, you'll need to download the full version 1.2, then the v1.4 patch.

EDIT: I see that you specified that you have version 1.4. This is puzzling, since the problem you describe is well-known to occur in v1.0, but not 1.4 (which I myself have & every base has equipment for sale). Are you sure? You may want to check the official site just in case.

I never did install 1.2, I thought I saw somewhere I could just skip to the 1.4.
