It is a standard fact that when you run mods, both the server and client must have the same files for the game to work properly. That is not the issue here. Granted the patch detects cheaters, but it is interferring with mod making itself. If you have to install a mod and then patch the game each time that is going to get rather annoying, ESPECIALLY for those mods that use the DLL's that the patch OVERWRITES.
Check your facts before telling me I am wrong. I've done my research and can backup what I say. I also happen to be one of the most knowledgeable people here on how freelancer works, so I know what I am talking about.
If you say the patch works just fine then you are in a small minority.
You say to email all the players...that's fine if you have like 20 people, but i have literally THOUSANDS who play my mod...I can't email ALL of them. I would get gagged for spam.
