question regarding evolutions mod

Hello

I am currently playing the sp campain of freelancer and I have Freelancer Evolutions Mod v1.27 and Sanics Star Wars Ships addon Mod pack installed because i wanted to fly the Millenium Falcon. My problem is that I don't know were I can find this ship. They sell it in Florida system but I can't land on the planet anymore because I am hostile with Lyberty. Is there any other place that sells it? I would also like to know if there is any documentation about this mods?

Thanks for any help

Blaster

p.s. It would also be okay if someone could tell me how to change the planets that sell certain ships. I think I am good enough at editing, to do this myself.

I have never played that mod, but you will need to getb your rep on better tersm to land on the base that sells the ships you want. Also, use the search function and you will find all the help you need in regards to editing files.

Sure thing mate, if you go into the Freelancer directory (when mod is activated), and then into the Data/Equipment folder - look for a file called "Market_Ships.ini"

You should be able to open this with a text editor - like notepad (don't use wordpad, or so i hear).

Once open, i think Florida is Li07_

If you do a search for Li07_ then you'll come to their declarations in the file. I think there are only a few places that sell ships, well, i mean about 6 - so your looking for a line which has something like (can't remember, FL not installed to look):
marketgood = shipname, 1,1,1,1,1,1
The numbers matter not at this point in time, i can't remember what the heck they are The important thing is that you're looking for something where the shipname part looks vaguely millenium falcony. I dunno what it's called though, so good luck finding it.

Once you've found it, you want to copy that whole line (including the marketgood part) and then go to the top of the file, which should start with Br01_01_base
Here you'll find ships for sale - there should be three.
Put a semi colon infront of one of the entries, and then paste YOUR entry infront of it:
marketgood = blah blah,1,1,1,1,1 ; marketgood = blahblah,1,1,1,1
(where bit after the ; is the original entry).
Save file and load game - go to Planet New London, and hopefully it's for sale.

If there are LOTS of entries under Br01_01_base, then put a semi colon infront of ALL of them. Then paste your ship entry in above the lot (not infront of all of them, but above:
marketgood = milleniumfalcon,1,,1,1,1,11
;marketgood = existingship,1,1,1,1
;marketgood = existingship2,1,1,11,1 etc

Hope that works. Was once going to upgrade that ship-pack, never got around to it

The third number in this is wetehr the base sells that ship or not. a 0 is no sell and a 1 is do sell. A base can only sell 3 ships max.
