FL Massive Addon and SP

Hi there, I'm kinda new to FL (I played it at a friend's house a long time ago, recently picked it up at a shop somewhere) and I was wondering if the FL Massive Addon is compatible with the Single Player Campaign? If not, are there any other mods out there that add other Universe ships to the SP Campaign?

you might have to use open single player with the mods i had a lot problems with playing with in the story line with mods

even using the Speed Mod there are still storyline problems.

To be honest, no mod should be used in story mode unless it has been specifically build for the SP campaign only, and theres only one that I know of thats been done this way.Linky

The small addon mods can be used to augment SP but the rest realy need to be played in either OpenSP or MP as they alter to much to make the story playable.

Well that's disappointing. Without a story Freelancer doesn't really have much going for it to keep me interested for long. What if I just modded in a few new ships? Would that break the game?

take this forinstance i tried to test my mod out on story line just a simple jump gate from liberty to st 01 . so i flew to toledo got my anubis and when im leaving the jump gate to get to liberty crash out. the big daddy mod is probly for you.

The latest Rebalance mod seems to work in SP. I've done a bit of the story missions (I'm in Kusari right now) with only one crash and that fixed itself up when I disabled and re-enabled the mod again.
