XP 64-bit + FLServer + IFSO + FLShell

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

XP 64-bit + FLServer + IFSO + FLShell

Would this combo work at all? I know that people have complained of crashes with FLShell + 64-bit XP, but is there a workaround or compatibility mode?

Also, would FLHook work with 64-bit XP?

Freelancer is only 32 bit. So, anything that would run it would have to have "backward compatability". 64 bit technology wouldn't make any difference and wouldn't make it run any faster.
Only more RAM would actually help.
Take a look at the requirements on the box.

win64+fl will work great
win64+flshell might be problematic since several processor types seem not to be able to run flshell

I had the same problem on my server and there is no real workaround
the final solution for us was to completly recode flshell for a 64bit environment

Ugh - I'm not a programmer so I have no way to recode FLShell. I'll have to give up on the XP 64bit project then.
