Hey uber (and anyone else looking for same), I am sure that plenty of folks around here will have their own recommendeations and favourites. Mine is of course just a personal choice and was well recommended from an old Lancers Reactor friend so here it goes:

You asked for RPG as opposed to just a server and MU is very much directed toward Clan and Event involvement. You can Freelance but even the they are involved in the general role play aspect.

The server is pretty stable with very few complaining of crashes or lag to any serious level and when there are problems the admin are quick both to inform and resolve.

Average online at any given time would be between 10 and 20 at a time. I play in the evenings GMT but I believe that it is busy enough around the clock.

You get enough starter creds and protection from PvP attack long enough to get a foothold in the game.

The mod has a comprehensive map, ship, wep and commodity upgrade over Vanilla so it should give you something to get your teeth into even withouth the RP.

The forum is lively, friendly, well moderated and easy to navigate.

If you do check in I apologise in advance for killing you but I tend toward the slightly less lawful side of the game.

Id reccomend Jolt. Its a good place. Its only slightley modded, no precarious and sometimes buggy mod downloads, Only modded things are the secret jump holes and gates open. Its pirate vs Hunter, and rouges are in it, vicious people who will scam and kill u in any way possible. It has alot of RP capacity and i beleive if ur looking for a fun time, its here. Just make sure to read the rulz for server first if u decide the go there, watever server u pick, have fun!

There was a server up that i used to play on 'game planet' but it got shut down because of alot of hackers and cheaters... bloody barstards they are...
