Setting up Server

I am tring to set up a freelancer server on a decated box ..I know how to set one up on my desktop. But not on a decated box ? ,What files do i need to transfer and Do i have to have the disk? Lost and confused..PLEASE HELP.

it's the same on a 'dedicated box' as on your desktop.
no, you don't need the CD to run the server.

OKay, I got it up and running but I cannot get Ioncross to work right. Its running windows 2003 .I have tried every Iron cross version and still get this same problem. IF i first start iron cross at start it has a glitch and kinda freezes and I have to shut it down.But if i by-pass it and just let server run ,server runs fine . I can edit chars and stuff ,but the start button will not light up to start it,I have tried unstalling and reinstalling like 6 times and using differnet versions of ioncross..lost and confused!!

make sure that the version in IFSO is the same as FLServer.exe

EG: If your server is 1.999 you have to open up IFSO directory, open the main ini file and change the version in there to 1.999

Okay I went there and all I have seen is a bunch of numbers .What am i looking for ? thank you for your help...I didn't come across a version but server is 1.0 version.
