Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

New server: 24/7 Procyon Dedicated

24/7 Procyon Dedicated
Run by four people tired of playing on servers with ridiculous lag/rules/mods/admins, Procyon is a thirty player server running on an extremely fast fiber optic connection.

The rules are all simple, and for the most part anyone with a shred of common sense will have no problems abiding by them:
* Cheats/Mods are not allowed ('skins' and similar purely graphical client side modifications being the only exception) and will result in an immediate ban.
* PvP in NY is not allowed. People who attack other players in NY will be given one warning, and will be banned if they continue.
* People with an average ping exceeding 250 will be automatically banned.
* Impersonating other players and/or admins will result in being banned.
* Racist remarks will result in a warning, followed by a ban. Racist player names will be banned immediately.

Server policies:
* Dockcamping: From our experience, roughly four out of five claims of "dockcamp!" are completely false. The claims are either fabricated completely, or the person making the claim has no idea what real dockcamping is. That said, dockcamping is allowed, as it would be impossible to enforce fairly.
* Swearing: We're not here to babysit people any more than we have to. That said, we don't care how colorful your language gets. Note that while we don't care about cursing, we will delete profiles with exceedingly foul names.
Admins: Zephyr, Zephon, Sion, Reaper.

We are currently running several custom server mods:
• Edited patrol paths
• Improved AI loadouts
• Improved AI dodging abilities
• Improved AI weapon accuracy
• Unlocked jumpholes (with edited AI patrols designed to maintain game balance)
• Missions are located closer to bases
• Missions pay slightly more

It should be noted that while the aim of the majority of our modifications is to increase the game's overall difficulty, we have made an attempt to keep it to such a level that even new players will be able to enjoy the server. Many of our changes to the AI are for the most part rather subtle - They won't use several thousand shield batteries every other second, nor will their shields regenerate faster than your weapons can tear them down. They will however have improved weapon proficiency, and will make more of an effort to avoid being shot in the first place.
