Monkey Universe

This server is running the Monkeys mod 1.18 patched by Black eagle.

IP ADRESS: 81.204.5.178

It has 2 new systems and 2 new factions.
New and fun commodities.
Extra jumpholes added.

The goal is to have a fun and new kind of RP experience !!!

All new players get a bonus cash amount if they want to !!!

Just ask the (>MP<

Monkey police (=server police) or mail [email protected] to receive the bonus or have it directly edited into your character.

As of today Monkey Universe is switching to it's new mod: MonkeyUniverse1.84 Mod

The mod is based on the Monkeys 1.18 and has the following additions:

6 extra new systems (thx to Strail for the use of his abandonned city base)
2 extra new commodities (banana's and coconuts)
All jumpholes and gates open and extra ones added...
Porsche's shippack (latest version)
Player looting activated
Cruise speed stepped up to 500

We are very greatfull to Black Eagle who took the time and effort to mod all we requested and even more...

Our connection has been upgraded to 1 Mbps upline and 6.6 Mbps downline...

The server will be upgraded to an AMD 64 3500+ 1 gig dualram very soon...

All players start neutral to all factions...

As of today :

the start up reputation has been changed !!!

All start neutral with all factions except the nomads, who are now hostile ;-)

This makes the new systems way more challenging and exciting !!!

Finally we were able to get the last bugs sorted...

A patch and the patched mod will be available one of the following days...

We are also gonna start up a new RP aproach regarding bases that can be claimed by clans ...

All players start hostile with the nomads and thru auctions / clanwars / special events (suited to every kind of clan), clans will be able to compete for landing and trading rights regarding the nomad bases...

The claims of ownership will be challenged on a regular basis so that all the clans get an even chance to have the claim for the nomad bases...
The admins will edit the reputations of the clans to make this possible...

Freelancers arent included in this so they can work their reputations around to become friendly with the nomads (and hostile with the robots, the order and the Monkeys)...
They can also choose to deal with the clan that has the rights on the Nomad bases...

The auctions for freelancer nomad frriendly reputation and clan ownership of the nomad bases wil start from next weekend...

The auction will run for aproximately 1 month.

The 3 highest freelancer bids will get friendly status with the nomads on each character they have...

The clan that gives the highest bid will get as only clan friendly reputation with the nomad for a period of a month.
Basicly this comes down to that clan controlling the trade in nomad weaponry...
After the month a new RP event (clanwar / special ops / ...) will be hosted to decide on the next owner of the nomads...

The first clan auction for control of all nomad bases and planets is due to end by the end of this month...

The same goes for the freelancer auction for docking rights with the nomad bases...
