Deep Space 9

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Deep Space 9

Hi everyone.

Our server ip is 81.31.112.81:2302 We have a patch running, our very own DS9 patch, so please register on our forums first and install the patch before coming onto our server, or Ioncross will autokick you. Go to www.ds9clan.co.uk and click on the Forums button.

We are a well policed server, we are strict on rules but also believe in having a fun time as well.

Note:
To players we have kicked off the server for breaking rules - do not post your disdain about our server below - be brave and complain on our forums - www.ds9clan.co.uk. These forums are not a battleground for your complaints, nor for dissing the server either. You got a complaint, post on our forums.

This is not a rant about DS9, but I warn new players that they are very tough on rules. If you cant take it, dont join it.

I dont know about you, but I dont trust installing sofware others write just to get into a game server.

Who knows what could be in there...

The01 - Our patch is very safe and does not carry viruses. We also have an uninstall patch which returns the FL files back to normal. I have asked above not to start putting our server down, and you are doing just that. Please dont. Its not nice, and dont knock something you havent tried.

We have loads of people on our server who use this patch, and none has complained about anthing unual that messed up their computer. All the Admin use this patch and we are ok, so are the other players.

they probly whouldnt put a viris in the patch anyways the01, virises are illegal and they can be sued

I was not bashing your server. I was simply stating my views of required third party software.

And as far as illegality goes, if its in the license agreement, the software can do pretty much anything it pleases.

Check out hotbar, 180 solutions, kazaa etc. If you agree to it, you give your consent.

I was not implying that the software was written to destroy someone's computer, just letting people know that I would always double check anything installed unless it is from a well reputable company (such as symantec, lavasoft etc) And even with them you might have some problems.

The01 our patch is perfectly safe, no one has had any problems with it. All that is does is give an original system some new bases, plus some new ships.

Its not harmful in anyway.
