FL Connections Mon

Is there anyway of getting the player name form the fl file that is being access and listed without using fl accounts browser. I do not like to be required to register the software in order to grab a players name.

Is there any tool that can matchup a player name with a file name?

Thanks

There are a number of tools about that can decode a given player file so that you can read the name. However, I don't know of program designed to do it the other way round. If you have FLstat, you could search the HTML file that it creates for either the name or the filename, as both get written to it.

As I mentioned to you here, you cannot do that IP address to FL character name matchup through FLConnMon any more because AkaTaka no longer provides the server for FLAcctBrowser for it's decrypting work. AkaTaka is the author of both of these programs.

To match FL saved game file names to character names, that's easy! Use IFSO, select the character in the Players tab view and hit the "View Player (non-edit)" button. Under the File View tab you'll see the entire path to the file name! It's helpful because you can also see the character's account directory name! Good luck!

Thanks Earendil,

I realised after I posted that I could match up the player name to an IP address using IONCROSS.

I thought however, that maybe someone wrote a different utility to some how match IPs to a player character. I knew flaccounts browser was not avail, but I was not sure if anything else existed that did something similar.

I think you meant FL saved game file name , not IP address .

As I mentioned in the previous post, go to the link I provided and I mention a program named FLAnti-Cheat (FLAC). Post on their forums here. It seems their forums only work with IE, not FireFox. Register and post to Eagle in the right forum for access to the FLAC boards. That is where the file is. This program matches up character names with account directories and IP addresses.
