Question on Ioncross server op. crash mania =)

Each time I edit a player (works on me though)
Either to give them a non standard power generator, or a non standard ship (anubis, nomad only I tried) The server crashes. Can I only edit myself to carry non standard equipment?
Also crashed if I move another player than myself to alaska, omicron major or minor.
Just wondered if its possible at all to relocate/edit other players to be in/have non standard systems/equipment?

I got the latest install of ioncross, running the server on a dual 2,400Mhz (x2) AMD cpu's under win xp prof edition.
Thats all Im using, nothing else, and the crash occurs on all players (not including me) tested here and there with 5-6 ppl.

What you are doing in your FLSO editing sounds mundane enough. I have done it for my beta testing. As long as the mods server-side are insignificant or non-existant and you ask for nothing too elaborate (Anubis is ok) for the character then it should work.
